Kalkulio

Kalkulio is a simpel calculator for the GNOME panel. It suports labels for calculation results and a command history.

Kalkulio is written in ruby and depends on the ruby-gnome2 libraries, version 0.19.0 at least.

Install

Load down the
kalkulio-0.9.tar.bz2 (35 kB)
For installation just follow the instructions in the README file in the package. Then "right-click" on the panel you want Kalkulio to get placed on and select "Add to panel...". From that dialog select the Kalkulio applet. If Kalkulio dosn't appear in the applet list restart your GNOME session or do an "killall gnome-panel" in a terminal.

With a right click on the left bar of Kalkulio you will get a menu, from where you can get to the help. In it, all functions, constants, operators and the general usage is showen.

If you have problems, to compile, install or run the program send me a mail, with the exact description of your system (version of your GNOME liberies, the ruby and ruby-gnome2 version,...), the Kalkulio version, and the error messages.
